ISSOTL Elections – Spring 2015 – Call for Nominations

The International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning – the premier international organization dedicated to the scholarship of teaching and learning — seeks leaders who are original thinkers, hard workers, and esteemed colleagues in the profession.  ISSOTL’s officers establish new directions for this organization while managing ongoing activities and services of the Society.

The ISSOTL Leadership and Elections Committee invites qualified members to nominate or self-nominate  for the following positions:

Officers of ISSOTL carry out responsibilities according to ISSOTL’s bylaws, participate in each ISSOTL conference (with their own funding) during their term of office, and help the Society increase and serve its membership.  Terms of office are three years for Vice Presidents and three years for the President (1 year as President-elect, one as President and one as Past President).  Those officers elected in Spring 2015 will begin their terms on July 1, 2015.

Note: it is an expectation of the Society that candidates running for the Presidency will have previously held a leadership role within the organisation.
