ISSOTL 2025 DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

Nominations are now open for the 2025 ISSOTL Distinguished Service Award, celebrating individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and the ISSOTL community. Winners receive a framed certificate and life membership in ISSOTL. The annual conference registration system assigns awardees the membership rate.

NOMINATIONS

The nomination form should include:

1. Nominator’s name, affiliation, and contact details
2. Nominee’s name, contact details, present/past institutional and ISSOTL role
3. A maximum of three accompanying letters of support 
4. A 300-word max statement by the nominator, addressing the criteria for nominations
5. A 150-word summary of key points (including those from accompanying letters)
6. The package should be no more than 10 pages in total 

SELECTION PROCESS

The ISSOTL President, a past winner of this award, and a student representative from the Board review the nominations and recommend awardees for approval by the Board. It is possible that no award will be made in any given year if no candidates stand out as suitable for the award.
