Information for Session Chairs

In the ISSOTL25 program, each session has a designated Chair. The Chair is asked to ensure that the session runs on time and according to the session presentation plan. Presenters should feel free to agree on a timekeeping protocol. If there is any difficulty with the AV equipment in the room, support will be available in the halls as sessions begin. If support cannot be found,  check with the registration desk. Please ensure that the session you are chairing begins on time, and please thank the attendees and presenters at the end of your session. As a reminder:

  • Workshops have one presenting group for 90 minutes (chart paper and markers are available at the registration desk on request)
  • Panels have one presenting group for 90 minutes
  • Roundtables have three presenting groups per table, with 30 minutes for each presentation (please present in the order noted in the program)
  • Paper / Inquiry sessions have three presentations per session, with 30 minutes for each presentation (please present in the order noted in the program)
