Online Pedagogy and Research Interest Group
This interest group represents an international, interdisciplinary network of educators and scholars committed to discussion, inquiry, and collaboration to explore trends, potential, and challenges within the online teaching and learning space both asynchronous and synchronous.
This group focuses on:
- discussing emerging trends and evolving developments in online education
- sharing of online design and delivery ideas and experiences for the mutual benefit of the group
- understanding pedagogy best practices in both asynchronous and synchronous online modalities with special emphasis on online engagement, community building and humanizing virtual learning
- intersciplinary and/or international research project collaboration
- considering tools and technologies with a view to how they add value and enhance the online learning experience for students
